Removable Vena Cava Filter Presented
at SIR Meeting

Phase One Medical, LLC, announced today its new Removable Vena Cava Filter was introduced by Dr. Thomas Kinney to Interventional Radiologists in a presentation titled, "IVC Filters of the Future" at the Society of Interventional Radiology Multimodality Symposium in Washington DC on October 19, 2006.
Dr. Kinney spoke specifically about the company's patented Medical Device Anchoring System which provides "secure point fixation" upon implantation. The proprietary Medical Device Anchor System is designed to provide long term device stability within the Inferior Vena Cava and allows for filter removal when clinical conditions warrant. Dr. Kinney is Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of California San Diego Medical Center.
